We suspect that at least some of the machines on Rife Trade are the product of fanciful excursions into wishful thinking. To purchase one today at any price is like buying an old Packard or a Model T Ford, before they became so highly prized. A very good long-term investment, but definitely not for regular use.

As for quackery, we do not know of any for sure and only a very few are even suspect. We must not forget that even the worst charlatan can give you a nice haircut, or buy you a good meal. We must not be taken in by the carelessness of blind and ignorant naysayers. We would suggest that those accusers not point the finger anywhere but to the most grave of concerns, because to do otherwise makes fools of us all.
Once a JWLABS Model A user was angry enough to lodge the complaint that the machine was a fraud, and did not work, and had lost all output power after only 6 months. He was ready to invoke the warranty and make demands...
A two minute call to JWLABS customer service, solved his problem. "Oh, it uses batteries?"

The biggest barrier that exists for this technology is first, there are a hundred or more different interpretations, or embodiments; all with a different story to tell, and sometimes a completely different theory, all calling themselves "Rife Machine". Second, the majority of makers don't provide any support, and even if they do, a novice cannot be expected to learn to make it work properly without some kind of experienced help.
This is much like the evolution of the airplane, with respect to the fact that a great many adventurous and inspired entreprenures attempted powered flight. A few succeeded, and from that point a series of practical solutions were eventually adopted and thereby, standards were established between competing firms. Like, all cars have a steering wheel. All planes have two wings and a tail. Much deviation from the accepted standards, would be called something else.
